Counselling: |
The most important thing the parents need is an open talk to release their tension and fear of having a child with disability. They need guidance regarding the child's education and functional independence. The parents are made aware of the physical and mental condition of the child. so the counseling session for the parents is the first step when they come to the centre. |

Physiotherapy: |
The child's ability is assessed by the therapist and detailed physiotherapy programme for the child is prepared.
The number of sessions for each child depends on the current level of the child. The therapy is both active and passive depending on the ability of the child. Once in a month the therapist evaluates the progress of the child and make changes in the therapy if needed. |

Special Education: |
The special educator does a special education assessment and prepares an individual education plan. Training is given in functional academics, activities of daily living, social interaction, communication etc.
The child is evaluated once in a month to know whether the goals are achieved. If yes, further goals are formulated to be carried out. If not, the goals are simplified to be carried out. If no, the goals are simplified to make it easy for the child to achieve. |

Case conference: |
The parents are requested to come to the centre once in a month. They sit together with the therapist and special educator and evaluate the progress of the child and also discuss how they can adapt the home environment to suit the child's condition. So the programme in the centre is both child and parent centred. |
