THFI - Prosthetic & Orthotic Workshop

Supply of Artificial Limbs and Orthopedic Appliances is a major thrust area of our programme. The Workshop made a beginning in 1992 with 64 cases has crossed 6500 cases in the year 2004. The workshop made a major breakthrough in achieving its objective of supplying artificial limbs and appliances at affordable cost to the deserving poor. Our staff under went training at the Prosthetic & Orthotic department of CMC, Vellore.

Our Workshop mainly targeted towards:
	Reaching out to the maximum number of people with disability.
	To produce cost effective aids and appliances
	Making the disabled aware of their rights and opportunities
	Counseling services to the families of those effected
	regular follow up
	Rehabilitation.
